Jeffrey Yip has been practicing architecture in Northern California since 2011, when he received his Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He is a licensed architect and LEED Accredited Professional. After working with Ellis Architects as a part-time designer in 2014, he enjoyed the Sacramento-based projects and studio culture so much that he rejoined the office eight years later. His past design and construction experience also includes commercial office, academic, and life science projects, with an emphasis on historic building renovations. Jeffrey’s passionate about designing creative, meaningful spaces and enjoys collaborating with clients to bring their ideas to life. Some of his proudest moments are walking through completed spaces with happy clients. When he has a free hand from raising his puppy Lucca, Jeffrey likes to spend time cooking and making improvements to his 1920s Craftsman-style house.
